Our Managing Director Jamie Dowdall has over 25 years of experience within the stone and quarry industry, our reputation and knowledge continue to grow. We have mastered the art of fabricating stunning kitchen worktops, providing outstanding customer service, with a showroom and selection far superior to other fabricators.
At our factory in Plymouth, well situated and easily accessed from the A38, we offer a vast array of Worktops and have live stock options from our granite Suppliers in both the uk and Italy which enable a customer to hand pick the slabs they require when looking for a more unique granite. We believe this is critical to ensure that our clients, whether trade or non-trade, are offered the best possible material for their application.
We actively encourage those looking for kitchen worktops to visit us, visually inspect our choice of stone samples, finishing details like edges, drainage options, all displayed in our large showroom. We are always on hand to offer those visiting a warm welcome and a chat over a coffee.

For those who take a technical interest in the state-of-the-art machinery used to produce our finished products, we have a viewing platform in the showroom where you can watch worktops being cut, and finished on the latest CNC machinery.
The Mayflower Stone factory produces some beautiful kitchen and bathroom worktops, all of which can be expertly finished in a variety of edging options. Whether you’re after a straight forward granite worktop or something more unique, we offer various detailing such as recessed drainers and shaped drainer grooves, moulded and shaped sinks and a multitude of bespoke finishes.
Our workmanship is second to none and the quality of a Mayflower Stone installation sets us apart from the other local fabricators.
Once your kitchen units have been installed, our templaters will visit and make a template of the countertops required often using state of the art laser templating technology. Depending on the material, we then ask that the client visits the factory and inspects the material and the layout of the templates prior to manufacture in order to agree on the positioning of veining and cut-outs.
All finished natural stone work is then sealed in the factory prior to installation.
Every piece of work is meticulously quality controlled, and you can have every confidence in the long-term attention you will receive in the unlikely event of a problem with the material.
After the installation is complete you will be given a care kit and maintenance information.
