Mayflower Stone

How we work

Get a quote

Mayflower Stone offers a simple ordering process that will help you choose the perfect material for your project. The first stage is getting a quote, which you can do in several ways:

• email measurements and project details to our sales team;

• or visit our showroom, ideally bringing a plan and measurements with you.

Whichever method you choose, it’s helpful if you can give us plenty of detail. The more information you can provide, the more accurate the quote will be. We will provide a fully itemised quote for you

Once you are happy with the price and have chosen your material please call or email the office with the following information:

• Your ideal template date (the date you will be fully ready for us to visit)(allow a minimum of 2 weeks from order to template)

• The site addresses

• The contact telephone numbers

We can then schedule your works and order materials, we will then confirm back to you the template date and installation dates, and if there is any deposit to pay (non account customers)

We will call you a week before the template date to check you are on schedule for the date booked. Then we will call again the day before the template date to confirm the times of arrival on the template date.

To enable us to template accurately we need all cupboards fixed and levelled in final location, all appliances you require to be cut into the worktop like sinks, hobs, taps etc to be at the property for the time of template, if replacing old worktops please have these removed before the template date, any questions please call the office.

The templater will arrive at the agreed time to come and take a either a Correx (plastic) or laser template using the latest equipment to accurately measure your worktops. They will chat through your final requirements, record this on the template form and ask you once you agree if you are happy to proceed to sign the template form (no changes can be made after this stage)

They will also leave you with information on how to register the warranty (if applicable) and leave you a heat pad if required to go above the dishwasher. They will also advise if any items need to be carried out before fitting for example any extra support required, they will record this on the top left of the template form so you have a copy for your kitchen fitter/installer to reference to and carry out before our return.

After the templating process, if you are a non-account customer the office will call you to take payment, once we have this and the signed template form the factory will start fabricating your new worktops.

The day before the scheduled fit date you will get a call to confirm the time of arrival on the fitting date.

Once fitted the team will ask you to check over your worktops, answer any questions you might have on cleaning/maintenance, provide you with an aftercare kit and ask you once happy to sign to confirm the job is complete.
